	WHERE DO I GO TO CHECK-IN WHEN I ARRIVE WITH MY CHILD?
	We will begin checking children in at 8:30 am each day of VBS. When the large group doors open, you may then take your child to their designated seating area and check-in with your child’s group leader.

	WHEN WILL MY CHILD RECEIVE THEIR T-SHIRT?
	T-shirts will be given out on the first day of VBS.

	DO I COME INSIDE EACH TIME TO PICK UP MY CHILD?
	Yes. You must come in to pick up your child in their small group area in the worship center by the end of VBS each day. You must present your child’s matching Parent Tag to their Small Group Leader. You will then need to show your Parent Tag AGAIN at the exit doors, so please keep your tag with you. If you have designated someone else to pick up your child, they will need to have your child’s matching Parent Tag. Pictures of Parent Tags on smartphones will be accepted. Each day a new unique Parent Tag will be issued upon check-in.

	No, childcare will not be provided before or after VBS. However, childcare is available to all volunteers. Please be prompt when picking up your child.

	WILL SNACKS BE SERVED DURING VBS?
	Yes. Snacks will be served each day. A meal is not provided. If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to make to note on their registration form and notify their Small Group Leader when you check your child in each day.

	During registration, you will be given the option to indicate that your child has a food allergy. We want to support your family with excellence at VBS by providing allergy-safe foods for your child. A list of snacks is available at registration and with each Small Group Leader. We do our best to make sure all snacks are allergy-safe. If something is questionable, we will always have alternate snacks available (Lays Potato Chips, Pretzels, etc.). If you would like to send a special snack for your child because of allergies, you may give it to their Small Group Leader each morning.

	Please send your child’s rescue inhaler (and spacer, if needed) in a plastic zip-top bag with their first and last name written on it. You will need to check your inhaler in with a staff member each day of VBS. Please also notify your child’s Small Group Leader that an inhaler has been dropped off.

	WILL YOU BE ABLE TO ADMINISTER ANY MEDICATION TO MY CHILD DURING VBS?
	We can administer EpiPen or a rescue inhaler because these are life-saving medications. Unfortunately, we will not be able to administer any over-the-counter or prescription medications during VBS.

	At Church of the King, we are honored to provide an environment where special needs families can grow deeper in their relationship with God. We have a growing community of special needs families that worship and gather together on a regular basis here at Church of the King. Our desire is for these families and children to be able to experience the fun at VBS.
